In ancient times the Vikings sailed, battled, and traded their way through Europe, the Mediterranean, and the New World. Their influence on western technology and culture is immeasurable. La Mandragore is a historical music ensemble which brings to life the lost music of the Vikings. Playing historical instruments, and singing in four languages including Old Norse, with the help of Viking scholars La Mandragore brings the voice of an ancient culture to modern ears.
