County Starts Mid-Year Budget Review

March 20, 2018 -- Last week, the Board of Supervisors started hearing mid-year budget reviews. In this first story, we'll hear about how the fires, the cannabis program, and low numbers during closed-session labor negotiations have eaten up last year's budget carryover, which was $1.3 million more than expected. CEO Carmel Angelo said the current carryover is not enough to cover county expenses for one month.
