According to the department of transportation, the bridge on Orr Springs Road, about 5 miles west of Ukiah, is complete and it is now open to vehicles weighing no more than 20 tons. The speed limit is 5 mph and there are stop signs on either side of the bridge for one-way traffic control. An embankment supporting a large section of the road collapsed during a rainstorm on February 21, 2017, opening a 60-foot-long crevice about five miles west of Ukiah.
