Jeffrey Parker is the Executive Director and General Manager of KZYX and Mendocino County Public Broadcasting. He comes from after working for 20 years in China. He has a journalism background and is very knowledgeable about new technologies and ways to communicate. Jeff will be be a strong supporter of making KZYX the indispensable community asset we all want it to be.

Mendocino County Public Broadcasting has completed its election for three open seats on the nine-person KZYX Board of Directors.

A landslide that closed Philo-Greenwood Road about a half mile east of Elk last week was partially cleared during the weekend, leaving one lane open open for traffic. The slide uprooted several large trees, whose massive root systems remained to be removed.
