THE CANNABIS HOUR, NOV. 2, 9 a.m., KZYX - Track and Trace, with Carmel Angelo, CEO, Mendocino County

Track and trace is the cannabis tracking system Mendocino County's licensed cannabis cultivators must use to follow their cannabis crop from seedling to distribution. Mendocino County Chief Executive Carmel Angelo and a representative from SIPCA, the program the county has adopted, will join host Jane Futcher on The Cannabis Hour, explaining how the system works and why it is different from the track and trace system the State of California has adopted.

You're under arrest! Those are words no one EVER wants to hear. Who's getting busted by the Sheriff and who's not under the county's new medical cannabis cultivation ordinance?

How do you talk about cannabis with your children? Does "Just Say No" work? What are the best and most recent studies on the impacts of long-term teen cannabis use on the brain? Are kids in the Emerald Triangle more at risk for drug dependence or addiction than children elsewhere in California?

The California Department of Food & Agriculture held a public hearing in Ukiah on Thursday, May 25, 2017 on the proposed state cannabis cultivation regulations.

A new iteration of a non cultivation Ordinance for Mendocino County was accepted at the Mendocino County Board of Supervisor's special meeting on Tuesday, May 23. That is according to Jude Thilman, owner of Dragon Fly Wellness Center, a dispensary in Fort Bragg. She said a number of people responded to the written documents that came from Mary Lynn Hunt, Chief planner for the county planning and building services. They included cultivators, manufacturers, dispensary owners, and others in the industry, she provided Kzyx with the details from this part of the meeting.
