Following the death of beloved New Orleans icon Allen Toussiant, Stanton Moore and his trio put all their plans on hold and got to work on a beautifully crafted tribute album with jazz greats such as Nicolas Payton and Donald Harrison Jr., and New Orleans legends Trombone Shorty and Cyril Neville. The album contains ten tracks which convey the spirit of Allen Toussiant and New Orleans beautifully. The Album is called With You In Mind.

KZYX Radio's Roots and All show had the pleasure on Tuesday of airing a live studio interview with singer-guitarist Brooks Forsyth, an American musician and songwriter from Boone, North Carolina.

Forsyth's musical style encompasses a variety of genres, particularly within Americana: folk, country blues, bluegrass, and roots-rock; along with components of Jazz and Contemporary Rock. He has a large repertoire of original songs and a versatile guitar style consisting of both flatpicking and finger-picking.

David Rawlings' latest album, Poor David's Almanack has just been released from Acony Records. It contains ten original songs which timelessly blend classic rock, bluegrass, country, and old-time mountain music, showing the world yet again that Dave Rawlings belongs among the best American songwriters. This music could have been written during any decade of the last hundred years.
