Wildoak Living PODCAST: Marine Sanctuary On Mendocino Coast
Tune in to WILDOAK LIVING, the radio program about living sustainably and building community in Mendocino County and beyond.
On Feb. 18, Johanna covers a topic of significant importance and potential impact on Mendocino County for people who live here and for our many visitors:
Mendocino Coast Marine Sanctuary
I talk with Richard Charter, Senior Fellow of the Ocean Foundation, and Norman DeVall, former Mendocino County supervisor for 16 years, about expanding the current boundaries of the Gulf of the Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries to provide long sought permanent protection from offshore oil and gas drilling and establish rules for sewage dumping from cruise ships. This proposed expansion is currently in the public comment phase.
