WILDOAK LIVING Mon Jan 20 at 9am: Sex and Drought
Tune in on Monday, January 20 at 9am for Wildoak Living:
Two topics: Sex and Drought
I talk with Sarah S. Richardson, Assistant Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University. Her research focuses on race and gender in the biosciences. In her book, SEX ITSELF, Richardson shows how cultural gender conceptions influence the genetic science of sex from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present, postgenomic age.
In the second part of the program, I talk about the drought on the West Coast and the The Ridiculously Resilient Ridge that is keeping winter storms from reaching our area and share water saving ideas.
