The French satirical comedy, “God of Carnage” by Yasmina Reza, will play at the Willits Community from April 7 through April 23. The award-winning play, translated into the English by Christopher Hampton, is directed by David Partch and features an all-star local cast of Alyson Blair, Andy Watson, Andrea McCullough and Colby Friend. The action centers on two couples trying to resolve their differences over a playground altercation between their sons. A rift develops between the couples that leaves their liberal principles in tatters and exposes the hypocrisies of modern civilization. “God of Carnage” runs from April 7 through 23rd, with shows on Thursdays at 7pm for $15, Friday and Saturday at 8pm for $20, and Sunday matinees at 2pm for $15. The play contains adult language and situations. Advance tickets are available in person at Mazahar, 38 S. Main St., Willits; online at brownpapertickets.com; or by phone 24/7 at 1-800-838-3006. Tickets will also available at the door until sold out.
